I found this chair recently on a treasure hunting adventure. It was a very simple little chair, but the price was right and I had an idea.
I brought the chair home, wiped it down and took the seat off.
I used paint that I had left over from another project, Vintage Market & Design in Poppy. For the seat I used a vintage torchon with the initials TA. I love the texture of this french kitchen towel and the monogram is my favorite detail. This towel has been in a stack in my kitchen. I love the way the stacked towels look, but I feel like I will be able to enjoy this piece even more now.
Thankfully I didn’t have to cut the towel at all to make this seat cover so if I ever wanted to take it off it should be okay.
I love this chair, and if I can find a place for it I might keep it, but it also might be making its way to Vintique Flea with me in less than 3 weeks.
The chair has gotten the seal of approval from Belle.
