This week I found a new favorite store and visited a large local vide grenier. I was asked if I could find a specific item on Saturday, Sunday morning I woke up ready to do some searching. Would you believe the second table I visited on Sunday morning had exactly what I was looking for. The tall white with green pitcher is one of my new favorites. The two green jars I found are so heavy!
The blue finds were pretty exciting this week as well. The ceramic trivet was made in France, the cheese tray is made from Limoges plates and the soup toureen is part of a 9 piece plate setting set from West Germany. The large bowl is marked GBN on the bottom. I did a little research and found that this was made in Germany around 1930.
Pinks and reds are always an exciting find for me. I got a set of 6 of the S napkins.
I adore the cast iron cookware by Le Creuset and others like this Doufou, but it is all so heavy.
And finally, baskets and linens. There is also a tiny little suitcase, hat racks and a pewter tray.
I felt so thankful this weekend to be able to have wonderful weather and a great turn out of vendors. I can not believe that my time living here is almost over.
I will have plenty of souvenirs to remember my time here by though that is for sure!
